Those looking for an exceptional place to stay in Amsterdam should tune in to the Hotel Not Hotel. Just like it says it does, this hotel is both a hotel and not one. It’s quirky, fun-filled, and they offer great rates for a high lass stay. Let’s find out what we need to know about the Hotel Not Hotel before we visit.

Hotel Not Hotel Amsterdam
“Lovely staff, happy to help. Good place with nice theme (unexpected).”
Hotel not hotel always gave us the impression that it was trying a little too hard to be different. There are so many hotels in Amsterdam that it can be difficult to stand out. Calling yourself not a hotel is a bit too gimmicky for our liking.
But…
It is an art-filled exhibition space where every room holds something different. The first floor above the lobby has an old car parked on it and no answers to the question of how it got there. The bar is packed, the living room is exceptional, and the food is Thai… because why not? It’s so different that it lives up to its name, and we can’t help but to salute that.
Amsterdam is one of our favourite places in the whole world. If the Hotel Not Hotel isn’t to your liking, we have numerous options on other places to stay in this glorious city. Our Amsterdam pages have all the info on what to do when you get there so you can make the most of your break.
